but the view of Ranipool Valley and Gangtok city from here is truly heart-touching.

How to reach:

Pakyong Airport is about 30 minutes away from Gangtok.

Nearest railway station:

New Jalpaiguri (NJP) — about 115 km away

Shiliguri Junction — about 120 km away

From both these stations, you can reach Pakyong in 4–6 hours by taxi or SNT bus.

(Note: Rangpo railway station is about 21 km from Pakyong but is still under construction)
